She was born in Budapest. She studied to be a solo singer at the Music Academy. After this, she was a member of the Choir of the Hungarian Radio for over 30 years. She married and had three children; she later divorced. She is a member and activist of Labrisz Lesbian Association. She conducts school classes within the program Getting to Know LGBT People. She is a board member of the Hungarian LGBT Alliance. She is retired but still performs regularly as a choir member. She still lives in Budapest.
